PORTABLE FLOW CYTOMETER
SX-CYT

SX-CYT | PORTABLE FLOW CYTOMETER

The SX-CYT is designed for on-site rapid specific microorganism detection

It  provides a rapid quantification of specific bacteria or total phytoplankton in liquid samples.

It is portable and easy to use thanks to its advanced software.

It has been designed, optimized and validated measuring E. coli, enterococci and phytoplankton.

Enable fast decision-making and preventive analysis at the point of contamination with SX-CYT.

It uses autofluorescence or immunofluorescence to quantify specific or nonspecific microorganism concentration.

It can be combined with the SX-CON to enhance the limit of detection and representativeness.

The system is compatible with several dyes or fluorescence labelling methods for specific detection including Antibody assays and Fluorescence In-situ Hybridization (FISH) based RNA probes.

It is a powerful early alarm system which allows preventive analysis and fast decision making of biological contamination in water, but also to avoid or stop outbreaks.

Suitable for specific bacteria, phytoplankton and microplastics quantification.

SX-CYT is suitable for all salinity range including fresh waters, brackish waters and sea water. In consequence, It has direct applicability in many water applications such as bathing waters, environmental water, industrial water, sanitary water, aquaculture, agriculture irrigation, cooling towers, evaporation systems, hotels and spas, beverages and for IMO-D2 ballast water regulations compliance.

A ROBUST, PORTABLE AND ACCURATE SPECIFIC MICROORGANISM READER

 SX-CYT Software

Every single fluorescence event is a counted microorganism.

Real-time oscilloscope view shows counted fluorescence events.
Ability to select ISO or regulation of your application and automatically establish contamination thresholds to give you PASS/FAIL alarm.
Automatic microfluidic cleaning mode allows easy maintenance to avoid sample to sample cross-contamination.
Automatic report generated based on selected water regulation.
Data can be saved and stored for further analysis.
